Inspirations
All the things that brought me joy!
Happy Monday, everyone! While this would have typically been published yesterday, I had a bunch of fun stuff going on, so I never had any time to sit down and get this issue of Inspirations out at its usual time.
Anyway, this past week was pretty calm considering the previous week’s flights and Bostonian adventures. On Saturday, I participated in a Go Topless Day event for the first time! No, it’s not what you’re thinking—it’s a Jeep thing!
Every year, on May 16th, Jeeps around the world celebrate the warming temperatures by putting down or taking off the tops. Many also remove the doors for this event, but that’s called driving naked (I know, we have a lot of suggestive phrases in the Jeep community).
My fiancé and I also tried out a new recipe this week, and it was delicious! We served it with some focaccia bread on the side, and it paired super well.
Moving on to some of the other things I enjoyed this past week:
Warmer weather, which, of course, enabled me to put the top down on my Jeep.
Watching a flock of egrets fly overhead.
Hearing the frogs and crickets in the evening before bed.
Wind rustling through leaves.
Cold watermelon.
Driving with the top down.
What are some things that inspired you or brought you joy this past week?
